Pink Evening Primrose is a beautiful, low-growing perennial that spreads by rhizomes to form a colorful ground cover. It blooms profusely in spring with large, cup-shaped pink flowers. It is drought tolerant and thrives in poor, dry, or sandy soils. It goes dormant in summer but re-emerges in fall. It can spread aggressively, so plant where it has room to spread or contain with edging.
